Get Rid Of Dark Elbows And Knees Naturally In No Time

Hello ladies! Today we’re here with something that not most people will tell you about. You would have read so many articles about getting two shades fairer, or about getting beautiful hair. But, not many will provide you information about how to beautify your knees and elbows. Afterall, they’re part of our body too. Most of us have been a little notorious in our childhood and have hurt ourselves in the knees and elbows, causing it to become dark. Also, sitting or standing long time by the support of your knees and elbows also makes them dark due to the friction. Sometimes lack of cleanliness can also be the cause for the same.

Now that we know the reasons why your elbows and knees may not be as fair as your other parts, we should start looking for how to make them so.

1. Lemon

Lemon is not only an antioxidant, but also it has bleaching and exfoliating properties. Therefore, it can be used to get rid of dark skin or dead cells from any part of body, including dark elbows and knees. It also helps in the production of healthy cells. Cut a large lemon into two equal halves. Squeeze out a little juice from both halves, so as that you have two small cups. Scrub each lemon half onto your elbows and knees for 10 to 15 minutes. After you’re done with the procedure, protect your skin. Avoid going outdoor and cover them up with loose clothing. And do not wash it off with water. Moisturize the area with pure petroleum or vaseline. Your elbows and knees will ultimately feel softer and smoother. Keep patience, and repeat the process daily until you see improvements.

2. Fresh lemon juice, olive oil and salt

Mix 2 tbsp of fresh lemon juice with 1 tbsp of olive oil and 1/2 cup of sea or table salt in a small glass bowl. Prepare a uniform mixture. As we all know, lemon juice is a natural bleaching agent, but it also helps in eliminating dead skin cells, thus uncovering the lighter skin from underneath. The salt, being grainy in texture makes it a great exfoliating agent, making it capable of removing dead cells. The olive oil also acts as a moisturizer. Rub the mixture on the affected areas for 10 to 15 minutes on a daily basis.

It’s advisable to moisturize your skin with petroleum jelly or vaseline the night before you use lemon if you’ve super dry skin. Because, the lemon may cause your skin to sting.
